Assistant Compliance Manager

Job Summary:

Serve as the back up to the Compliance Manager and provide overall assistance, support and indirect leadership to the audit department.

Essential duties and job functions:

  • Oversee the daily and weekly audit process
  • Standardize and document core audit processes and procedures
  • Deploy and train end users on core processes and improvements and/or changes implemented
  • Integrate quality and streamline processes into system driven solutions
  • Develop root cause and implement corrective actions associated to non-conformities
  • Provide hands on audit support and cross-train in all audit scopes (Hours, Logs and Trucks)
  • Troubleshoot time and attendance issues and improve the quality of the payroll inputs
  • Develop an audit road map, scorecard and reporting cadence annually
  • Drive continuous improvement projects

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years audit and compliance experience
  • Strong computer competency (MS Office, Excel, etc. )
  • Ability to navigate and learn new software applications
