RECRUITING COORDINATOR


Job Summary:

The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the talent acquisition process. This includes building relationships with candidates, as well as educators within the markets Kimbel Mechanical does work. The Recruiting Coordinator is typically the first interaction a candidate will have with the organization. The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for interviewing and screening candidates, placing candidates with the right hiring managers, engaging with students about future opportunities, and ultimately becoming a talent advisor to the hiring team, as well as continually improving the process and procedures within his/her scope of work.


Essential duties and job functions:

  • Continually generate candidates for open positions via sourcing, head hunting, networking, referrals, etc.
  • Network with schools, state officials, and industry leaders
  • Build relationships with schools throughout associated markets
  • Speak in front of classrooms, schools, panels, etc.
  • Generate market research to better develop recruiting strategies
  • Complete Recruiting Activity Reports to submit to supervisor
  • Routinely take part in Talent Acquisition training and development
  • Continually improve the process and procedures of Talent Acquisition
  • Communicate with Hiring Managers on a regular basis
  • Manage job postings and job applications for every open job requisition
  • Network and build relationships within every applicable market
  • Participate in Career Fairs ranging from K-12th Grade, Technical Schools, Colleges, Adult Job Fairs

Supervisory:

This position currently does not have any supervisory roles.


Work Environment:

This job will be a mostly remote position, consisting of intrastate travel, and some onsite visits/work.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills/professionalism
  • Strong Research skills
  • Ability to improve on processes and procedures
  • Networking & People Skills
  • Ability to make common sense decisions and work independently within the scope of the position
  • Self-Starter and can work independently
  • Ability to serve in a primary role within a cross functional team
